HELLENIC SOCIETY FOR THE STUDY OF HIGH ENERGY PHYSICS
Members of the HeSSHEP are engaged extensively in educational activities for high school and university students and the general public.
The Greek Outreach Group participates, right from its creation, in IPPOG (International Particle Physics Outreach Group), an international network of scientists, science educators, and communication specialists working across the globe in informal science education and outreach for particle physics. Its goal is to bring new discoveries in this exciting field to young people and convey to the public that the beauty of nature is indeed becoming understandable from the interactions of its most fundamental parts - the elementary particles.

Members of the HeSSHEP from the NCSR Demokritos Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics, through dedicated actions, try to generate public engagement in science and to produce and distribute informational content for their research activities, having as key audiences students of all grades.
The Hellenic Society for the Study of High Energy Physics (HeSSHEP) promotes the scientific work of the Greek scientists, informs the general public and the Greek state on matters concerning the subject of High Energy Physics, organizes an workshop and conferences.
